Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche - an American actress who starred in many genres of film TV, theatre and stage - was an incredibly well-known American. Her awards include a Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award among others. Anne Celeste Heche (19 May 1969 - August 11, 2022) is an American Actress. She first gained recognition for her roles as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love from the soap opera Another World (from 1987-1991) and she was the recipient of the two Soap Opera Digest Awards. In the late 1990s, she began to become famous for her roles in crime dramas Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the film about horror I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer and the political comedy Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress from the United States. She's best-known as Lieutenant Sheba of the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. Her mother is the actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart was only a few years old when she began her acting career. For T is for Tumbleweed, her first movie role was at four years old. It was nominated as an Academy Award for this short film. Lockhart would be in the film with her mom, where she was able to learn about the nuances of business. Lockhart was also a part of numerous episodes of Lassie. Her debut film was Dora in Jory in 1972. In 1972, she was just 18 year old and portrayed her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan was the last actor to make an appearance in The Sixth sense. Anne did not want the part of Laurie Strode that she was offered in John Carpenter's Halloween, in 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later took on the role. Carpenter tells us that the actress was on his list for the role however she decided to decline it. Anne does not recall ever being offered the role from John Carpenter or being offered the job. It's possible one of Anne's agents turned down the offer because of her, but she didn't tell her. Glen Larson chose her initially and sent her a preliminarily written script. The role she would take was on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. The character wasn't strong enough to warrant her acceptance of the role. Glen developed a brand new character, Sheba that was more strong. She embraced the Living Legend's script after she read its first pages. The show ran for one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
